Bloggers have essentially taken over the fashion industry. From front row invites to star studded after parties they are rubbing elbows with the who's who in fashion (including Miss Anna Wintour herself). Just recently we watched Chiara Ferragni (aka The Blonde Salad) head off to fashion's Super Bowl, The Met Gala in Calvin Klein. It seems as these bloggers are becoming celebrities in their own right.
What makes these seemingly normal people so popular? It is hard to pinpoint exactly but the fact that they appear so relatable definitely seems to help. The pictures of them walking down busy New York streets or the Instagrams of them brunching with their friends seems like something we all might do (just maybe not dressed head to toe in designer pieces). The fact that they come across as being no different than the rest of us is why we all turn to them for their reviews on products and advice on styling trendy pieces. They are not these big corporations who are marketing their products to us because they sell them buy instead we feel like we can trust bloggers' opinions. And though the argument has been made that these bloggers make a pretty penny to share reviews on products that companies are paying them for making them no different than the bloggers themselves, they still feel more trustworthy writing these reviews in their apartments than in their big offices at magazines.
With so many bloggers in the industry, it can be hard to find one to fit your needs. Whether you're looking for all out outfit inspo or whether you want a relatable blooger that uses high street items we have rounded up our favorites below:
