The past few weeks we have been talking about how the white tennis sneaker has been the reigning champ of sneaker trends for decades but what we left out was one of our other favorite sneakers, the black slip-on. Note that through this, we have come to realize that we genuinely cannot get enough of sneakers and are essentially becoming street style sneaker heads.

It can be argued that Vans created the black slide, but for us we really like what the high street stores have done with it. From gold details to high topped versions we are definitely feeling what they are putting out. Like most sneakers they can be worn by both men and women which is one of the main reasons why we gravitate to them in the first place. But we also love that they can be worn with practically anything be it a pair of suit pants and a button down, a skirt and a tank or skinnies and a tee (which is also androgynous).
