Falling for Coats

Now that it's September first and our fall countdown is on, we are finding ourselves looking to our absolute favorite piece of clothing; coats. Some people have a thing for shoes we have a thing for coats, what can we say? We have missed the added cherry on top of our outfits and cannot wait for the ninety degree weather to break so we can begin slowly adding this element into our looks. We like to use a coat as a statement piece and have it set the tone for the rest of the outfit. Whether you're using a leather jacket to make a polished look a bit more edgy or giving an all black look a monochrome touch with a long white coat, it can transform a look and give it a bit more of your own personal style. During the transitional time that is fall, it can be hard to style the right jacket with the right weather which is why we created this easy guide for you.

Pre-fall:

Mid-fall:

By Halloween there is definitely a chill in the air with morning and night not only getting colder but much darker. By this point you can bring out the heavier coats or stick to the coats we talked about earlier with a couple layers underneath. Post-fall:

Once the end of fall hits and the winter is near it is full force coat season. A wool coat is always a win for both guys and girls.
